Instrument Requirements

Students must have access to a piano or weighted full size keyboard. The quality of your student's home instrument plays a significant role in their potential success. All materials needed for each lesson are expected to arrive with the student.

Attendence Requirements

The time scheduled for each student's lesson is reserved for his or her exclusive use. Time will not be taken from the following lesson or class to accomodate late arrivals.

There will not be any make up lessons when cancelled by the student; however there are 3 group experience lessons which may be used as "make up" lessons during the year. If a student does not miss any lessons, these group experience lessons will be an added bonus.
Please refer to the student swap list which you will receive the first week of Sept. to swap lessons with someone in case of illness, vacations etc.
If your child is sick enough to stay home from school he/she will not benefit from a lesson in a constructive way. Please do not send him/her for a piano lesson.
If Oconee Schools are cancelled due to inclement weather, the Studio will also be closed

Studio Calendar and Tuition Payments

The Studio Calendar runs on a 10 month schedule from September through June.

The tuition is divided into 10 equal monthly payments. The Studio is run much like a private school. Tuition remains the same each month and is based on your child's enrollment, not attendance, which guarantees that particular time is reserved solely for your child.

Summer Study

The Studio Calendar includes 32 lesson weeks from September through May, plus 4 lessons to be scheduled at your convenience during June and July. Students take at a minimum 4 lessons during the summer to retain concepts learned during the school year and to avoid spending the fall months reviewing and getting back into shape In April, I will provide a schedule of available teaching weeks for the summer session, please choose what is best for your family. The Studio will be closed for the month of August, and re-open in September after Labor Day
